Responsive – Our commitment is to provide clients with service that is responsive to their needs. This means that we return all our client’s phone calls at the earliest possible opportunity. It also means that we discuss with our clients timelines for their business transactions and deliver the legal services required to complete their transactions within those timelines. However, beyond simple timeliness, our being responsive also means that in all facets of our service we work with our clients to understand their business needs and expectations and to meet and exceed those expectations.

Cost Effective – Owners and managers of small and medium sized businesses are justifiably concerned about legal costs. Costs are an important element of retaining legal counsel and we discuss costs with each of our clients in our first meeting. Costs have two aspects, legal fees, that is, the amount we charge for our services, and disbursements, which are expenses that we incur on behalf of a client and later bill to the client. Through creative fee arrangements, which often include flat fee arrangements, we make sure that our services are provided on a basis that makes sense to our clients in the context of their business goals. In addition, we endeavor to minimize disbursements whenever possible. We pride ourselves on our clients’ ability to say that we not only provide exceptional service, but that we also provide it on a cost-effective basis.
